“100 percent,” Louisville coach Rick Pitino told CBSSports.com on Wednesday night.
The 6-foot-11 Senegal big man has been out since Nov. 23 with a broken wrist, but Pitino told CBSSports.com that Dieng practiced on Wednesday and will definitely play against the Wildcats this weekend.
”He’s in great shape,” Pitino said. “His defensive timing is off, but he looks good offensively,” Pitino said.
How effective he’ll be remains to be seen. There’s one other factor to be considered. According to Goodman, Dieng’s parents will be in attendance to watch their son play for the first time.
