Apparently the UK coach — that would be basketball coach John “Asking for a Lifetime Contract” Calipari — dropped into the Q last night, where he watched former Wildcat Rajon Rondo and his fellow Celtics whomp the Cavs and Cal’s close and personal superstar but MIA friend LeBron James up one side of the head then the other.
And the UK coach was apparently sitting with . . . LeBron’s agent. That would be Leon Rose. And they were just a couple of seats over from Dan Gilbert. He would be the Cavs’ owner.
To which “coincidence,” I say . . . Hmmmmmmmmmm!

I’m advised that an attorney in town, on behalf of himself and several potential clients, has sent a demand letter to the University of Louisville Athletic Department regarding the seat selection process in the new arena.
I am told he requested the priority point list, the names of all who have already selected seats in the new arena, the number of seats they’ve been allowed to select and the number of seats they had at Freedom Hall.
I’m also advised that the attorney, based on representations by the school for transparency of process, is hoping that info will be provided without the necessity of filing an official Open Records Request.
I personally know many fans who have had season football and basketball tickets for decades, some dating back to the Armory. A good many feel their loyalty and financial support has not been appropriately honored. They believe that there are a significant number of people and corporations that have been able to jump the line to get primo Club Section seats in the new arena. Of course, most are quite displeased.
As soon as I hear anything more, I will advise.

Montreal Canadiens versus Pittsburgh Penguins tonight in Game 7 of their Stanley Cup series.
Oh, that’s right. Nevermind. Most of you would rather watch overpaid Cavaliers and Hawks give no effort and get beat by 30 points on their home courts during the impostor advertised as the NBA playoffs.
