Parity, We don’t need No Stinkin’ Parity

Those are the scores of six of Sunday afternoon’s pro games.

Four others had double digit margins. (Technically that’s three daylight games, Pats vs. Bucs was played at night in London.) I’m not including Sunday or Monday night games. (Obviously, since this will be posted before kickoff of both.)

One game — only one — Houston 24 over San Francisco 21, had a single digit margin of victory.

For the first time in NFL history, there are three undefeated teams still standing after Week 7 of the season.

Whatever is going on?

It used to seem that just about every game had a last minute field goal winner.

This is absurd. No wonder pro football fans now care a lot more about their fantasy teams than they do about the real ones.

Any suggestions why this is happening?

Inept management by a lot of really rich incompetent owners who think they understand football.

Good thing the Titans and Lions didn’t play Sunday. The list would have been a lot longer.

Hey now, watch what you say about my Lions. They’ve doubled last year’s win total. That is if 0 x 2 = 1.

    Dearest fans,

Thank you so much for taking the time out of your busy schedule Bagging Krag to become a fan of Bag Krag on Facebook. The thousands of t-shirts sold, the millions of hits on our blog, the numerous reality TV opportunities – none of it would be possible without you, the Bag Krag fan. Please continue to spread the word.

While we’ve come a long way, there’s much more work to be done. You see, there’s this guy named Steve who’s still coaching our beloved Louisville Cardinals football team, and there’s this guy named Tom who can’t seem to get enough of him. In order to ensure Tom gets rid of Steve, we need you. All of you.

This Halloween, Saturday, October 31, 2009 at the Louisville-Arkansas State game, we’re going to set the Guinness World Record for Bagging Krag. An official Guinness World Records Judge will be on hand to mark the achievement. We also hope to break the record at the final two home games against Syracuse and Rutgers.

The team is going to be tailgating at a to-be-determined location near the stadium. We ask that you please order your shirts by midnight on Thursday. Simply choose the local pickup option, print your order confirmation, and we’ll have the shirts for you on location. We’re going to have complimentary paper bags and, in the spirit of Halloween, plenty of markers and accessories to decorate your bag. Don’t miss this opportunity to be a part of world history.

There will be more details to come as the week progresses. In the meantime, please continue Bagging Krag and filling our inbox with photos.

    While Bagging Krag we remain,

    Faithfully yours,
