Recalling a 6-45 beatdown to the Gamecocks three years ago and its effect on him and his then frosh QB Rusty Smith, Casablanca Schnell says: “That game was certainly a shock to him and to me. I didn’t think he would have as much shock as he told me about after the game was over with. It was a full sellout crowd. But it’s tough for a young quarterback and a young team to come into that situation.”

But looking to today’s encounter, Optimistic Schnell returns: “Now, we’re an old offensive football team and obviously we expect us to represent ourselves better.”
