Ed O’Bannon sues NCAA

The ever alert Dan Wetzel has just posted an online column regarding a monumental class action lawsuit filed by former UCLA Bruin Ed O’Bannon.

Seems the kids who live down the street from the former Bruin play video games, licensed by the NCAA, using O’Bannon’s likeness.

And, the former national champ thinks he deserves some royalties.

Why, why, why the audacity of such foolishness.

I have always said NCAA stands for Not Caring About Athletes. Every couple of months something happens to support me. Here is the next nail in the coffin. Unfortunately we just don’t have enough nails.
