Favre to play again, if . . .

. . . his arm won’t fall off when he tries to throw an out pattern during the first Vikings mini camp after doctors allow Brett to throw.

Sources advise Favre’s mind is made up that he’ll play again. As long as he has a reasonable chance of performing at a decent level. Meaning he can put on his shoulder pads without the help of a man servant.

Like a punch drunk, over-the-hill fighter, the former Green Bay QB is obsessed with revenge against the Packers, who, in his demented mind, treated him badly by letting him loose.

This really isn’t anything earth shakingly new. Except my sources advise that Favre’s determination to make it back on the field is manifest. That the Vikes play in the same division as Green Bay and play in a dome have weighed positively on his decision to attempt one more comeback.

Brett, please. Stop before you thoroughly become a caricature of yourself.

This guy CREATED the mess that led to his departure in Green Bay. How he sees it otherwise if amazing. He has sullied his reputation and exposed himself as an over-the-hill prima donna. If there ever was a guy who shoulda quit while he was ahead, this is that guy. The Packers got the best of this deal.
