The source advises the school in Westwood is offering unbelievable financial benefits to Jurich to try to convince him to make the move. The source’s sense is that Jurich will not leave Louisville, that TJ has a desire to get U of L’s football program back up to speed and that will carry the day.

I’m assured by my source, who should know, that this is not rumor but “fact.” That UCLA has contacted TJ and made a hefty offer. Because Jurich is staying at U of L — or so I’m told — the story will probably die without any public airing. I’m sure TJ gets contacted by other schools all the time, given his overall track record at Louisville. The info I received was not from a UK fan, quite the contrary actually.
