Talking with some folks more familiar than I with the Max Gilpin situation, it seems that there is more damning info to come.

I’m not sure that Gilpin’s death raises to the level of a criminal event. Sad. Sure. Preventable. Possibly. Criminal in the current football uber alles culture. ????

But the handling of the matter after the fact is simply scandalous. That smug principal who deleted complaining emails and lied about an investigation needs to be hung by his short and curlies from a lamp post on the Dixie. Call in Madame DeFarge to knit his name.

The AD doesn’t seem to have distinguished himself either, saying he was ill-equipped to run an investigation. Well then, get somebody who is equipped to do it right.

Anyway, this one is far from over.
